 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She gained notoriety for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since the year 2020. Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she was involved in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had regularly featured in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was selected to play the character in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism by the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial problems, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. Following her sophomore year, she quit and obtained an GED. She continued, however, to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
